Edwin “Rod” Rodriguez, Jr. is a wealth management financial advisor based in New Orleans, LA.

CAPTRUST welcomed Rod in 2021, and he brings with him more than half a century of experience working with institutions, foundations, and high-net-worth individuals and families. He currently serves as a principal and financial advisor at the firm.

Rod joined CAPTRUST from Crescent Capital Consulting, where he served as the executive vice president of investments and a senior investment management consultant. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Louisiana State University and has been a financial advisor since 1971.

Outside of work, Rod enjoys spending time with his family, and he is an avid hunter, fly fisherman, and golfer. He is also actively involved in philanthropic activities, both locally and nationally. He currently serves as the president of the Gustaf W. McIlhenny Foundation, chairman of the board of the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, and as a board member of both the National World War Il Museum and Pro Bono Publico Foundation.
