KJ McConnell joined GTCR, a leading private equity firm, as a vice president in 2014 and is currently a director at the firm.
KJ has deep experience investing across the financial services and technology industry, with expertise helping businesses transform through organic growth initiatives and M&A.
He is currently a director of GTCR portfolio companies Cisive, RevSpring and Ultimus Fund Solutions. KJ was previously a director of GTCR investments Convergex, Dash Financial Technology and Paya. In addition, he played an instrumental role in GTCR’s past investments in The Townsend Group and Premium Credit Limited.
Previously, he worked as an associate at TPG Capital, a global private equity firm based in San Francisco, and as an analyst in the financial institutions group at Goldman Sachs in New York.
KJ holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Indiana University Kelley School of Business and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar.
