Bob Nachman is a wealth management financial advisor based in Greenville, SC.

Bob joined CAPTRUST in 2021. He brings over 35 years of experience as a financial advisor and consultant. Bob provides a wide range of financial services to high-net-worth individuals and families, qualified retirement plan sponsors, and nonprofits. Whether he’s speaking with a client or another member of our team, you can count on Bob to be attentive and focused.

Prior to joining our team, Bob was a founding partner of Nachman Norwood & Parrott—a wealth management consultancy firm. He created a team environment at Nachman Norwood & Parrott where the client came first. Bob began his career at Smith Barney, Harris & Upham. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and political science from Tulane University.

Outside of the office, Bob turns his attention to family, fitness, and is passionate about open-water swimming. As a longtime resident of Greenville, he is actively involved with the community and has served on many boards in the city over his career. Bob currently serves as a board member of the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities.
