Brad Weafer is a wealth management financial advisor based in Boston.

As Chief Investment Officer of Boston Financial Management (BFM), which became CAPTRUST in late 2024, Brad has led the investment practices of BFM, directing and communicating investment strategy for the firm.

He manages internal investment strategies, oversees manager research for traditional and alternative asset classes, and has direct coverage for individual security research.

Prior to BFM, Brad was an actuary and senior consultant with Mercer for more than a decade.

He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the University of Vermont, and his Master of Business Administration degree from Babson College.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, preferably on a mountain or a beach.
