Buck Beam is a wealth management financial advisor based in Wilmington, NC.

In 2020, Buck joined CAPTRUST from Fountain Financial Associates, where he served as a partner and vice president, investment advisor representative for more than 15 years.

As a senior vice president and financial advisor for CAPTRUST, Buck is charged with providing financial advice for high-net-worth investors, entrepreneurs, and corporate executives. He earned his Bachelor of Science Business Administration degree in risk and insurance from Appalachian State University.

Outside of the office, Buck focuses his community involvement on issues facing young people. He serves as a director for Communities In Schools of Cape Fear and Smile for a Lifetime. In the past, Buck has served in a leadership position for other community and industry organizations including the North Carolina Azalea Festival, Junior Achievement USA, Children’s Museum of Wilmington, and Appalachian State University Brantley Risk & Insurance Center.

Buck and his wife Caroline have two sons, Beau and Wayland.  When the sun is out you can usually find them in the water around Wrightsville Beach.
