Grant specializes in developing customized and innovative services for defined benefit plans, endowments and foundations, and institutional asset pools. He works out of the Raleigh, NC office.
Grant joined CAPTRUST in 2010 and is currently a senior director, institutional portfolios practice leader, responsible for leading the development of services for defined benefit plans, endowments, foundations, and other institutional clients. As part of this role Grant has oversight over the CAPTRUST’s OCIO team, portfolio construction, research, and consulting team, actuarial team, institutional performance reporting team, and non-qualified executive benefits team.
Grant is a regular contributor to articles and frequent speaker on topics for institutional portfolios including liability driven investing, pension risk transfer, asset allocation, alternatives, fiduciary governance, and other topics.
Prior to joining the firm, Grant served as a vice president at Aon Investment Consulting, where he served as a financial advisor for institutional clients including retirement plans, endowments and foundations, health care organizations, and institutional asset pools. He has worked in the industry since 1998.
He lives in Raleigh, NC with his wife and two children, where they enjoy exploring anything that combines fitness and the outdoors.
