Jon heads up the firm’s technology initiatives and works out of the Raleigh, North Carolina, office.
Jon Meyer is CAPTRUST’s chief technology officer and is responsible for the firm’s application development, information security, infrastructure, and emerging technology practices. He is passionate about driving change and enabling organizational success through technology. His role is to manage the development and support of proprietary applications, to implement strategies that position the firm to scale its sustained growth, and ensure stable, effective, and secure operations.
Jon led the Firm’s transition away from on-premise computing and its ongoing transition to cloud native technologies. He launched an emerging technologies practice to focus on maximizing the business value of new AI technologies including proprietary chatbots and computer-vision driven document analysis.
Prior to joining CAPTRUST, Jon led application development teams for both First Citizens Bank and Blue Cross & Blue Shield of North Carolina. He began his career with Accenture and has worked in the industry since 1990.
