Mark is chief of CAPTRUST human resources and works out of the Raleigh, North Carolina, office.
Mark joined CAPTRUST in 2018 and serves as chief human resources officer for the firm. He is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the firm, specifically in the areas of culture, succession planning, talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, and compensation. Mark provides strategic leadership by articulating HR needs and plans to the executive management team.
Prior to joining the firm, Mark was a director of human resources at QUALCOMM, and he has worked in the industry since 1992. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from SUNY Plattsburgh and a Master of Industrial and Labor Relations degree in human resources from Cornell University.
When not in the office, you can find Mark and his wife cheering for their children at soccer games, volunteering at North Carolina FC–Youth, or playing percussion in the company’s in-house garage rock bank, The Rollovers.
