CAPTRUST Financial Advisor Travis Whitten was named to the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA) Top 50 under 40 “Young Guns” list for 2016. Dallas-based Whitten was acknowledged on the NAPA website and spotlighted in the NAPA Net Daily newsletter. He will also be featured in NAPA Net – The Magazine’s spring issue and acknowledged at the upcoming 15th Annual 2016 NAPA 401(k) Summit in Nashville, Tennessee.
The “Young Guns” list is comprised of 50 of the top defined contribution advisors in the country based on a profile of their business and voting by NAPA members. Those listed are seen as promising future leaders of the retirement plan advisory business.
Whitten joined CAPTRUST in 2011 and is responsible for providing retirement plan advisory services to corporate fiduciaries. He graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture and applied economics and a Master of Science degree in finance from Texas A&M University. He holds the professional designation of Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and has worked in the industry since 2006.
